My client, one of the leading IT recruitment agencies within the UK require a permanent IT recruitment consultant for their Leeds branch.
Job Purpose i. To identify and place candidates in vacancies within a specific territory and market guidelines. ii. To create*identify sale leads*opportunities iii. Build client relationships iv. Work as part of a national*regional team
Principal Accountabilities o Identify vacancies and potential vacancies within specific territory and market guidelines o Learn and develop client base in line within pre-determined guidelines o Source any vacancies within specific territory and market guidelines as identified by self or passed over from colleagues. o Assess candidate suitability for vacancies with regard to qualifications, skills and experience. o Contact candidates to ensure interest in the Client Company and positions available. o Arrange interviews, liaising with both clients and candidates, co-ordinate all feedback including offers of employment, rejections, start dates, expenses, etc. o At all times maintain contact with clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure parties are kept fully updated as to progress*status of an application throughout the relevant process. o Maintain comprehensive records as to both client and candidate status via the Eureka system. o Control the advertising status of vacancies on Internet sites via the administration support function. o Interview candidates either face to face or over the telephone to qualify relevant skills, experience and remuneration package and identify current*anticipated opportunities
o Attend client meetings where appropriate. o Agree*negotiate fee scales with clients o Advise clients on the most effective recruitment approaches to adopt
You wil have a minimum of 6 months recruitment experience and have a passion for the IT industry. In return the company offer a basic salary up to Ј25,000 with on target earnings in excess of Ј45,000 in the first year.
